This National Indigenous Peoples Day, the Canadian Federation of Library Associations/Fédération canadiennes des associations de bibliothèques (CFLA-FCAB) is continuing to act on and implement the recommendations of our Truth and Reconciliation Committee’s report. Truth and Reconciliation continues to be one of CFLA-FCAB’s main priorities therefore the Federation continues to promote initiatives to all types of libraries to advance reconciliation by supporting the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action and to promote collaboration on these issues across Canadian communities.
