We would like to thank everyone who submitted proposals for the CLA Book Awards Collection. All of the proposals were excellent and any of them would ultimately have been a good home for the collection. However, the Federation is pleased to announce that we have selected Ryerson University in Toronto as the permanent home for this collection.
In addition to experience with the archiving of older publications in their Children’s Literature Archive, Ryerson University has an active program in children’s literature, which will allow students in those programs to benefit from access to this collection and hopefully foster new works of literature that will be worthy of similar recognition in the years to come.
