MOOC Evaluation

The University of Alberta will run a randomly distributed online survey at the beginning of the course asking where students learned about the course. They will share data with us about the number of people who have participated from public libraries.

We have developed three questions that will help us to understand the impact of taking the course that we have made into an online form. We would appreciate it if you asked customers to take this short survey if you know that they have completed the course. It is anonymous, so we won’t know which library they have come from. We will share the data we receive from across the country with the University of Alberta and participating libraries who request it.

Libraries interested in evaluating uptake and programming impacts of the MOOC at their library are encouraged to develop methods relevant to their unique context.
