Monika is the Chief Executive Officer of the Clarington Library, Museums & Archives. Prior to her tenure at Clarington, she was the Chief Executive Officer at the East Gwillimbury Public Library. Monika has extensive experience working in growing and diverse populations, including Brampton, a community with over 89 spoken languages, and in East Gwillimbury, the fastest growing municipality in Canada.

Lorisia MacLeod, a member of the James Smith Cree Nation in Saskatchewan, works as the Learning Services Librarian at The Alberta Library and is a member of the Library Association of Alberta.
